Job Change Tutorial
A complete guide to the TimeRO Academy class-change flow — from the ship tutorial and Castaway Island to first class, second class, expanded jobs, advanced trials, and rebirth guidance.

Wake up on the ship, help the wounded survivor, and follow the glowing blue exit.

Requirements Overview

Important: First class and second class changes require Academy registration. Advanced trials also require all unspent skill points to be used before starting.

Ship Tutorial

🚢 Starting Area — Ship Interior
The tutorial starts inside the ship at iz_int. Follow the messages, help the wounded survivor, and use the glowing exit to reach the island.

Castaway Island Tasks

🌊 Captain Carocc — Island Route

Speak to Captain Carocc at int_land78,103. He gives Blessing, Increase AGI, healing support, and marks the Sailor on the minimap once the route is ready.

Academy Registration

First Class changes are handled through Criatura Academy. Register with the Receptionist, choose your class route, then deliver the required item to the correct instructor.

The Receptionist can either apply a personality test or let you choose manually. In both cases, the selected instructor is marked through navigation and minimap indicators.

First Class Job Change

First Class changes are handled through Criatura Academy. Normal first classes require Job Level 10 and a class-specific item delivery. Expanded first classes are handled by their Academy instructors and require Base Level 40. The 1st Class Weapon Voucher is an optional Training Island bonus that grants a class-appropriate starter weapon during the job change.

Training Island bonus route: defeat 5 Eggrings and 5 Garlings to unlock departure. Players who also defeat 5 Cloverings receive the 1st Class Weapon Voucher ID 51451. If the player has this voucher during a normal First Class change, the Academy consumes it and grants the matching class weapon reward.

Second Class Job Change

Second-class advancement is handled by Director Valerian at iz_ac02_a103,210. Each route has three stages:

  1. Class quiz — 10 questions, minimum 9 correct answers.
  2. Material delivery.
  3. Combat trial against the assigned monster.

Before starting, you must have Base Level 40, Job Level 40, and no unspent skill points.

Rebirth and Valkyrie Guidance

The Academy keeps track of your second-class path for rebirth guidance. Premium rebirth classroom guides redirect Novice High characters only to the correct branch associated with their recorded previous life.

Practical Tips

🧭 Follow the Navigation
Academy NPCs use navigation arrows and map markers. If you are lost, return to the Receptionist or the current active NPC.
🎒 Check Inventory Weight
Some rewards require free inventory space and weight. If an NPC refuses to reward you, clear space and try again.
⚔ Spend Skill Points
Second-class trials require all first-class skill points to be spent. If Director Valerian blocks you, open your skill tree and spend remaining points.
🔁 Persistent Trials
Advanced trials remember your stage. If you pass the quiz, your next step is material delivery; after that, the combat counter is tracked.
