What Is an Instance?
Instance Properties
Private copy
Each party receives its own unique instance β no other group can enter your copy.
Party-based
Created by the party leader, usually by speaking to an entrance NPC.
Time limit
The instance only exists for a limited duration. It expires whether completed or not.
Scripted
Phases, objectives, NPC dialogue, boss triggers, and one-way progression are common.
Cooldown
Many instances can only be repeated after a reset. Most TimeRO instances reset at 04:00 UTC.
Skill limits
Teleport, Fly Wings, and some movement skills may be disabled depending on the instance.
Entry rules
Level, party size, or specific item may be required. Disconnect behavior varies by instance.
β Important Notes
- Once inside, players usually cannot invite new members to the party.
- If the instance timer expires, players are removed to their Save Point.
- Death and respawn behavior varies β some instances prevent re-entry.
- Memorial Dungeon chests can still be opened even if the party leader is offline.
π Access Cost
Most TimeRO instances are limited to a single run per day. Some also have level requirements, party minimums, or bigger cooldown windows. Mode selection (Classic / Challenge / Elite) may be available at the entrance NPC.
