<strong style="color:#c0d8f0;">TimeRO</strong> keeps the tactical identity of <strong style="color:#c0d8f0;">Pre-Renewal Ragnarok Online</strong> while expanding the class roster with modernized Expanded and Advanced Expanded routes. Classic classes, Transcendent classes, Expanded classes, and Expanded Transclasses coexist under a controlled classic power level.

TimeRO is built around the spirit and power level of Pre-Renewal Ragnarok Online. This means the server preserves the tactical pace, class identity, equipment value, and combat philosophy of the classic era, while expanding the universe with new class possibilities.
Overview
Our goal is not to turn the game into a Renewal-style power race. Instead, TimeRO brings modern class variety into a Pre-Renewal-balanced environment.
<div style="display:grid;grid-template-columns:1fr 300px;gap:18px;margin:0 0 30px 0;align-items:start;">

In TimeRO, players can enjoy:
<div>
<div style="background:linear-gradient(135deg,rgba(10,22,40,0.92),rgba(5,12,24,0.98));border:2px solid rgba(100,180,255,0.30);border-left:5px solid #3a8fe0;border-radius:9px;padding:18px 22px;margin:0 0 16px 0;">
<div style="font-weight:bold;color:#7fc2ff;font-size:1.02em;letter-spacing:0.06em;text-transform:uppercase;margin-bottom:9px;">🌐 Class Variety, Classic Foundation</div>
<div style="color:#7898b8;font-size:0.91em;line-height:1.68;">
TimeRO includes the full classic class structure, Transcendent progression, and selected Expanded class routes. The objective is not raw power creep: every class is tuned around <strong style="color:#b0d0f0;">Pre-Renewal pacing</strong>, party identity, meaningful equipment, and recognizable combat roles.
</div>
</div>

* Classic Pre-Renewal class progression.
<div style="background:linear-gradient(90deg,rgba(0,200,160,0.08),rgba(0,200,160,0.03),transparent);border:1px solid rgba(0,200,160,0.20);border-radius:8px;padding:10px 16px;color:#40c8a0;font-size:0.87em;line-height:1.65;">
* Normal Transcendent Classes.
Expanded classes also have advanced paths in TimeRO: <strong style="color:#80d8b8;">Oboro</strong>, <strong style="color:#80d8b8;">Kagerou</strong>, <strong style="color:#80d8b8;">Rebellion</strong>, <strong style="color:#80d8b8;">Super Novice EX</strong>, <strong style="color:#80d8b8;">Soul Reaper</strong>, and <strong style="color:#80d8b8;">Star Emperor</strong>. These routes are adapted to fit the server's classic balance target.
* Expanded Classes such as Ninja, Gunslinger, Super Novice, Taekwon, Soul Linker, and Star Gladiator.
</div>
* Advanced Expanded Classes such as Oboro, Kagerou, Rebellion, Super Novice EX, Soul Reaper, and Star Emperor.
</div>
* Additional class paths balanced down to fit the Pre-Renewal universe.
* Custom job-change tasks that are more meaningful and challenging than the original job-change quests.

Core Philosophy
<div style="background:linear-gradient(135deg,rgba(6,14,28,0.94),rgba(3,8,18,0.99));border:1px solid rgba(100,180,255,0.18);border-radius:9px;padding:18px 16px;position:relative;overflow:hidden;">

TimeRO classes are designed around three principles:
<div style="display:flex;flex-direction:column;gap:0;position:relative;">
<div style="position:absolute;left:17px;top:32px;bottom:32px;width:2px;background:linear-gradient(180deg,rgba(80,160,255,0.28),rgba(80,160,255,0.06));z-index:0;"></div>

After arriving in TimeRO, players unload from the ship and are directed toward Criatura Academy.
<div style="display:flex;align-items:flex-start;gap:12px;padding:0 0 14px 0;position:relative;z-index:1;"><div style="width:36px;height:36px;border-radius:50%;background:rgba(0,200,160,0.16);border:2px solid rgba(0,200,160,0.36);display:flex;align-items:center;justify-content:center;font-weight:bold;color:#60e8c8;font-size:0.80em;flex-shrink:0;">3</div><div style="padding-top:8px;"><div style="font-weight:bold;color:#80e8d0;font-size:0.86em;margin-bottom:2px;">Expanded Classes</div><div style="color:#5070a0;font-size:0.78em;line-height:1.50;">Special class routes with unique mechanics.</div></div></div>

Criatura Academy is the main class and job hub of the server. It is where new players learn the world, choose their class path, and begin their progression.
<div style="display:flex;align-items:flex-start;gap:12px;position:relative;z-index:1;"><div style="width:36px;height:36px;border-radius:50%;background:rgba(180,80,255,0.16);border:2px solid rgba(180,80,255,0.36);display:flex;align-items:center;justify-content:center;font-weight:bold;color:#c080ff;font-size:0.80em;flex-shrink:0;">4</div><div style="padding-top:8px;"><div style="font-weight:bold;color:#d0a0ff;font-size:0.86em;margin-bottom:2px;">Expanded Transclasses</div><div style="color:#5070a0;font-size:0.78em;line-height:1.50;">Advanced routes for Expanded classes.</div></div></div>
</div>

Inside the Academy, each class has its own classroom.

Expanded Class Advancement
Expanded Classes are available in TimeRO, but they are balanced to fit the Pre-Renewal world.
Classic Second Classes
This means classes such as Rebellion, Oboro, Kagerou, Soul Reaper, Star Emperor, and Super Novice EX exist, but their power level, scaling, and impact are adjusted to avoid breaking the classic server environment.

Job Change Tasks
Expanded Classes
Every class in TimeRO has a custom job-change task.
<div style="background:linear-gradient(135deg,rgba(4,22,20,0.92),rgba(2,10,10,0.98));border:2px solid rgba(0,200,160,0.28);border-left:5px solid #20c8a8;border-radius:9px;padding:14px 20px;margin:0 0 18px 0;">

<div style="color:#50a090;font-size:0.90em;line-height:1.65;">
Expanded classes introduce unusual mechanics outside the classic six-class foundation. They are included in TimeRO with balance adjustments so their gameplay fits the Pre-Renewal environment.

These tasks are more challenging than the original job-change quests and are designed to teach the player what the class is supposed to do.

Recommended Progression Flow
A standard class path looks like this:

# Start as Novice.
# Reach Novice Job Level 10.
# Enter Criatura Academy.
# Choose a class classroom.
# Complete the First Class task.
# Change into a First Class.
# Reach Job Level 40–50.
# Complete the Second Class task.
# Change into a Second Class.
# Reach Base Level 99.
# Perform Rebirth.
# Become High Novice.
# Reach High Novice Job Level 10.
# Follow the Transcendent class path.
# Complete the appropriate Transcendent task.

Expanded class progression follows a similar structure, but returns to the appropriate expanded base class after rebirth before advancing into its higher form.

Important Balance Note
Although TimeRO offers advanced expanded classes, the server remains balanced around a Pre-Renewal power level.

This means:

* Advanced expanded classes are adjusted to fit the server’s combat environment.
* Skills may be rebalanced.
* Damage values may differ from official Renewal behavior.
* Cooldowns, scaling, and effects may be adjusted.
* No class is intended to invalidate classic Pre-Renewal roles.

The goal is to create new possibilities inside the Pre-Renewal universe, not to replace it.

⚔ Classes

TimeRO keeps the tactical identity of Pre-Renewal Ragnarok Online while expanding the class roster with modernized Expanded and Advanced Expanded routes. Classic classes, Transcendent classes, Expanded classes, and Expanded Transclasses coexist under a controlled classic power level.

Overview

🌐 Class Variety, Classic Foundation

TimeRO includes the full classic class structure, Transcendent progression, and selected Expanded class routes. The objective is not raw power creep: every class is tuned around Pre-Renewal pacing, party identity, meaningful equipment, and recognizable combat roles.

Expanded classes also have advanced paths in TimeRO: Oboro, Kagerou, Rebellion, Super Novice EX, Soul Reaper, and Star Emperor. These routes are adapted to fit the server's classic balance target.

// Class families
1
Classic Classes
Novice, First Classes, and Second Classes.
2
Transcendent Classes
Reborn classic second-class upgrades.
3
Expanded Classes
Special class routes with unique mechanics.
4
Expanded Transclasses
Advanced routes for Expanded classes.

Class System Rules

Class balance targets a Pre-Renewal power level, even when newer class routes are available.
Classic classes remain relevant. Expanded classes are designed to add options, not replace classic jobs.
Advanced Expanded classes may have custom scaling, cooldowns, and damage values.
Job-change requirements are documented separately on Job Change Tasks.
Class supplies, weapon routes, and training support are handled through Criatura Academy.
Class identity matters: tanking, damage, support, control, utility, economy, and hybrid roles all have space.

Classic First Classes

First Classes define your first real combat identity. They are the foundation for the classic Second Class branches.

Classic First Class Table
Class Core Role Identity
Swordman Frontline melee Durable physical combatant with direct pressure, weapon scaling, and defensive potential.
Mage Elemental caster Ranged magical damage, elemental control, and spell-based area pressure.
Archer Ranged physical Reliable single-target damage, positioning, range advantage, and later trap or performance routes.
Merchant Economy / utility Zeny tools, vending, item economy, melee utility, and later crafting or alchemy routes.
Thief Mobility / burst Fast melee gameplay with evasion, burst, stealing, mobility, and disruption.
Acolyte Support / holy Healing, buffs, holy tools, support identity, and later divine or martial specialization.

Classic Second Classes

🔥 Core Branches of the Classic Game

Second Classes are the heart of classic Ragnarok identity. Each First Class splits into two distinct branches, giving the player a stronger and more specialized role.

Transcendent Classes

✨ Reborn Classic Progression

Transcendent classes are the reborn versions of classic Second Classes. They keep the same class identity but gain stronger tools, refined scaling, and advanced skill options.

Classic → Transcendent
Classic Class Transcendent Class Role Upgrade
Knight Lord Knight Stronger melee pressure and frontline scaling.
Crusader Paladin Stronger tanking, sacrifice tools, and holy identity.
Wizard High Wizard Stronger area magic and destructive casting.
Sage Professor Stronger magic control and resource utility.
Hunter Sniper Higher ranged damage and refined trap utility.
Bard / Dancer Clown / Gypsy Improved performances and party utility.
Blacksmith Whitesmith Stronger weapon mastery and economy combat tools.
Alchemist Creator Stronger alchemy, potion, and homunculus-related potential.
Assassin Assassin Cross Stronger burst, poison pressure, and critical identity.
Rogue Stalker Stronger disruption, copying, and tactical control.
Priest High Priest Stronger support, healing, holy utility, and party safety.
Monk Champion Stronger combo play and spiritual burst identity.

Expanded Classes

🌙 Special Class Routes

Expanded classes introduce unusual mechanics outside the classic six-class foundation. They are included in TimeRO with balance adjustments so their gameplay fits the Pre-Renewal environment.

Expanded Class Reference
Class Style Identity
Ninja Hybrid assassin / caster Uses ninjutsu, throws, evasion, mobility, and deceptive combat patterns.
Gunslinger Firearm specialist Uses pistols, rifles, shotguns, launchers, and controlled ranged burst.
Super Novice Flexible hybrid Blends selected basic-class tools into a unique low-stat, high-flexibility route.
Taekwon Martial base route Kick-based combat route that later branches toward Soul Linker or Star Gladiator.
Soul Linker Spiritual support / magic Provides soul-based utility, magical pressure, and specialized support effects.
Star Gladiator Celestial martial fighter Uses celestial identity, stance mechanics, target identity, and map-based specialization.

Expanded Transclasses

🔮 Advanced Expanded Progression

TimeRO supports Transclass-style progression for Expanded classes. These routes are balanced specifically for the server and may differ from official Renewal versions in damage, cooldowns, scaling, and skill behavior.

Expanded Class → Advanced Route
Expanded Route Advanced Route TimeRO Direction
Ninja Oboro / Kagerou Advanced technical route with controlled burst, ninjutsu, and mobility.
Gunslinger Rebellion Firearm route with stronger weapon variety and controlled ranged power.
Super Novice Super Novice EX Expanded hybrid route with limited but flexible class tools.
Soul Linker Soul Reaper Spiritual magic route adapted for classic balance.
Star Gladiator Star Emperor Celestial martial route with stance and target identity preserved.

Balance Notes

⚖️
Classic Pace
The game is tuned around Pre-Renewal combat tempo and party expectations.
🎯

🔥
No Power Creep
Newer class routes are adjusted so classic classes remain valuable.
