TimeRO is built around the spirit and power level of Pre-Renewal Ragnarok Online. This means the server preserves the tactical pace, class identity, equipment value, and combat philosophy of the classic era, while expanding the universe with new class possibilities.

Our goal is not to turn the game into a Renewal-style power race. Instead, TimeRO brings modern class variety into a Pre-Renewal-balanced environment.

In TimeRO, players can enjoy:

* Classic Pre-Renewal class progression.
* Normal Transcendent Classes.
* Expanded Classes such as Ninja, Gunslinger, Super Novice, Taekwon, Soul Linker, and Star Gladiator.
* Advanced Expanded Classes such as Oboro, Kagerou, Rebellion, Super Novice EX, Soul Reaper, and Star Emperor.
* Additional class paths balanced down to fit the Pre-Renewal universe.
* Custom job-change tasks that are more meaningful and challenging than the original job-change quests.

After arriving in TimeRO, players unload from the ship and are directed toward Criatura Academy.
</div>

</div>
Criatura Academy is the main class and job hub of the server. It is where new players learn the world, choose their class path, and begin their progression.

Inside the Academy, each class has its own classroom.

Every classroom contains:

Criatura Academy is intended to be the central place where players understand the class system before committing to a path.

Expanded Class Advancement
Expanded Classes
Expanded Classes are available in TimeRO, but they are balanced to fit the Pre-Renewal world.

This means classes such as Rebellion, Oboro, Kagerou, Soul Reaper, Star Emperor, and Super Novice EX exist, but their power level, scaling, and impact are adjusted to avoid breaking the classic server environment.
<div style="background:linear-gradient(90deg,rgba(0,200,180,0.09),rgba(0,200,180,0.03),transparent);border:1px solid rgba(0,200,180,0.22);border-radius:8px;padding:10px 18px;margin:0 0 20px 0;color:#30c8b0;font-size:0.88em;">Expanded classes open new playstyles inside the Pre-Renewal universe. Advanced forms are balanced down — skills, scaling, and damage may differ from official Renewal behavior. They do not replace classic job roles.</div>

Second Class Job Change Tasks
Every class in TimeRO has a custom job-change task.
<div style="background:linear-gradient(90deg,rgba(100,160,60,0.09),rgba(100,160,60,0.03),transparent);border:1px solid rgba(100,160,60,0.22);border-radius:8px;padding:10px 18px;margin:0 0 20px 0;color:#80b848;font-size:0.88em;line-height:1.65;">Second Class changes use a direct custom task: <strong style="color:#b8e888;">Answer test, <strong style="color:#b8e888;">kill one assigned monster 20 times</strong> and deliver <strong style="color:#e0d0a0;">one required item x20</strong>. The delivery item is not intended to be the same monster's drop.</div>

These tasks are more challenging than the original job-change quests and are designed to teach the player what the class is supposed to do.

A standard class path looks like this:

# Start as Novice.
# Reach Novice Job Level 10.
# Enter Criatura Academy.
# Choose a class classroom.
# Complete the First Class task.
# Change into a First Class.
# Reach Job Level 40–50.
# Complete the Second Class task.
# Change into a Second Class.
# Reach Base Level 99.
# Perform Rebirth.
# Become High Novice.
# Reach High Novice Job Level 10.
# Follow the Transcendent class path.
# Complete the appropriate Transcendent task.

Expanded class progression follows a similar structure, but returns to the appropriate expanded base class after rebirth before advancing into its higher form.

⚔ Class System — TimeRO
TimeRO is built on the spirit of Pre-Renewal Ragnarok Online — tactical pace, class identity, and meaningful equipment. Modern class variety comes through Expanded and Advanced Expanded classes, all balanced for the classic era. Every class has a dedicated classroom at Criatura Academy, class-specific supplies, and a custom job-change task more meaningful than the original.

Core Philosophy

⚖️
Pre-Renewal Power Level
Damage, survivability, equipment scaling, and class impact are balanced around the classic Pre-Renewal ecosystem. No class invalidates another. The tactical pace of the original era is preserved.
Expanded Possibilities
Ninja, Gunslinger, Taekwon, Super Novice, Soul Linker, and Star Gladiator — alongside Advanced forms Oboro, Kagerou, Rebellion, Super Novice EX, Soul Reaper, and Star Emperor — all adjusted to fit Pre-Renewal.
🎯
Class Identity
Every class has a clear role, a dedicated classroom in Criatura Academy, job-specific supplies, and a custom job-change task designed to teach you what the class does — not just to gatekeep progression.

Criatura Academy

🏛 The Main Class Hub — Register First
After arriving in TimeRO, players should go directly to Criatura Academy and speak with the Receptionist. Registration is required before starting any job-change route. The Receptionist records your character, unlocks the correct class guidance, and directs you to the proper classroom, instructor, and task path.

Important: if you skip the Receptionist registration, job-change instructors may not recognize your progression. Register first, choose your intended class route, then complete the required task for that job.

Job Change Requirements

Progression Steps — Requirements at a Glance
Step Requirement Notes
Receptionist Registration Required first Speak with the Receptionist at Criatura Academy before starting any class-change task.
Novice → First Class Job Level 10 Complete the First Class initiation task by delivering the required item.
Novice → Expanded Class Base Level 40 Expanded entry tasks are lighter because they are performed by Novice characters.
First Class → Second Class Job Level 40 Defeat the assigned monster 20 times and deliver the required item x20. Job Level 50 is recommended for maximum skill points before changing.
Base Level 99 → Reborn Base Level 99 Uses the original Valkyrie rebirth quest. No custom TimeRO task is required for the Transcendent change.
High Novice → Trans Path Original Trans flow After rebirth, follow the original Transcendent class progression.

Expanded Classes

Expanded classes open new playstyles inside the Pre-Renewal universe. Advanced forms are balanced down — skills, scaling, and damage may differ from official Renewal behavior. They do not replace classic job roles.
Expanded Class Paths — Base 99 Expanded class -> Reborn
Base Class Transclass TimeRO Balance Direction
Ninja 🥷 Oboro · Kagerou Fast, technical, skill-based combat balanced for Pre-Renewal pacing.
Gunslinger 🔫 Rebellion Firearm specialist with adjusted damage scaling and controlled burst potential.

Taekwon 🦵 → Soul Linker Soul Reaper Spiritual support and magic class adapted to avoid Renewal-level scaling.
Taekwon 🦵 → Star Gladiator Star Emperor Celestial fighter balanced around classic map, target, and stance identity.

First Class Job Change Tasks

First Class changes are handled through Criatura Academy. Register with the Receptionist, choose your class route, then deliver the required item to the correct instructor.

Transcendent Job Change Tasks

Transcendent job change follows the original Valkyrie rebirth quest. TimeRO does not use a custom kill/item task for the Transcendent change. After reaching Base Level 99, complete the original Valkyrie path, become a High Novice, and continue through the standard Transcendent progression.

Summary: Base Level 99 → Original Valkyrie quest → High Novice → Trans First Class → Trans Second Class.

Expanded Class Job Change Tasks

Expanded entry tasks are part of the same early-class cycle, but they are calibrated for Novice characters at Base Level 40. Star Gladiator is intentionally harder because it is a post-Taekwon path.

Important Balance Note

⚖️
Pre-Renewal Power Level — Always
Although TimeRO offers Advanced Expanded Classes, the server remains balanced around a Pre-Renewal power level. Skills may be rebalanced. Damage values may differ from official Renewal behavior. Cooldowns, scaling, and effects may be adjusted. No class is intended to invalidate classic Pre-Renewal roles. The goal is to create new possibilities inside the Pre-Renewal universe — not to replace it.
