🏰 Instances
An Instance (also called a Memorial Dungeon) is a private dungeon copy created for a specific party β€” each group gets their own version of the map, their own monsters, and their own timer. TimeRO expands this into three formats: Classic, Challenge, and Elite.

TimeRO Instance Types

πŸŒ€
Classic Instances
Traditional structured adventures: phases, boss encounters, NPC progression, map objectives. The core Ragnarok dungeon experience inside TimeRO.
MVP drops Β· Instance materials
🎁
Challenge Instances
Harder modified versions with extra mechanics and stronger enemies. Their defining feature: a guaranteed Reward Chest after successful completion.
Reward Chest Β· Exclusive drops
πŸ†
Elite Instances
Seasonal competitive versions for organized groups. Performance metrics (time, deaths, damage) determine ranking. Best teams earn exclusive prestige rewards.

What Is an Instance?

Instance Properties
Private copy
Each party receives its own unique instance β€” no other group can enter your copy.
Party-based
Created by the party leader, usually by speaking to an entrance NPC.
Time limit
The instance only exists for a limited duration. It expires whether completed or not.
Scripted
Phases, objectives, NPC dialogue, boss triggers, and one-way progression are common.
Cooldown
Many instances can only be repeated after a reset. Most TimeRO instances reset at 04:00 UTC.
Skill limits
Teleport, Fly Wings, and some movement skills may be disabled depending on the instance.
Entry rules
Level, party size, or specific item may be required. Disconnect behavior varies by instance.
⚠ Important Notes
  • Once inside, players usually cannot invite new members to the party.
  • If the instance timer expires, players are removed to their Save Point.
  • Death and respawn behavior varies β€” some instances prevent re-entry.
  • Memorial Dungeon chests can still be opened even if the party leader is offline.
πŸ”‘ Access Cost
Most TimeRO instances are limited to a single run per day. Some also have level requirements, party minimums, or bigger cooldown windows. Mode selection (Classic / Challenge / Elite) may be available at the entrance NPC.

🎁
Reward Chest
Challenge instances grant a guaranteed final Reward Chest after successful completion β€” making them reliable high-value farming content.
πŸ†
Seasonal Ranking
Elite instances score parties by clear time, death count, and damage efficiency. Top teams earn seasonal prizes and prestige recognition.

Daily Memorial Dungeons

πŸ“… Daily Reset β€” 04:00 UTC
Daily Memorial Dungeons are solo-entry instances that reset each day. Each run rewards crystals, Jello Shards, Mythril Ore, and grade-specific equipment for the Memorial Dungeon Equipment crafting system.
