The Quest Window was re-designed after Renewal. In addition to the re-designed Quest Window, if a player kills a monster for a current quest, a notification box will appear above their character's head. If enabled, the first 5 quests listed in the active / "In Progress" tab will appear on the right side of your game window with a basic quest description. You can also manually decide which quest you want to appear on your game window by checking the box on the right side of the Quest Window / Journal. If the box is unchecked, the quest will not appear on your game window. Please note, not every quest has a quest window component.

There is also the option to show / hide a quest. You can do this by clicking the icon that looks like an eye, which can also be found on the right side of the Quest Window / Journal. Hiding the quest will move it to the Inactive / "On Hold" tab. From the Inactive / "On Hold" tab, you can click the eye icon once again to move it back to the Active / "In Progress" tab. '''Moving the quest back and forth has no effect on whether you can continue it or not.'''

The Quest Window can be opened with Alt + U.

📜 Quest System Overview

TimeRO quests are divided into two main branches: TimeRO Equipment Quests — custom crafting lines that power your character's progression — and Classic Ragnarok Quests — the traditional RO content including job changes, regional adventures, and utility services. The Quest Window can be opened with Alt + U.

TimeRO Equipment Quest Lines

👑
Headgear Quests
Craft unique upper, middle, and lower headgears through NPC crafting. Ranges from simple material collection to elite multi-card recipes. The most visible form of character identity in TimeRO.
Early → Endgame
🎒
Expedition Gear Quests
Craft and upgrade armor, garments, shoes, and accessories for PvM survival. Connected to Fever maps, Dynamic Fields, and dungeon progression. The core armor-side progression line.
Mid-Game → Advanced
⚔️
Relic Weapon Quests
Forge rare weapons through multi-stage quest chains requiring MVP drops, Fever materials, and rare ores. The main weapon-side progression line for serious hunters and endgame builds.
Advanced → Endgame

Equipment Progression Path

Recommended Progression — You do not need to complete all quest lines at once
Stage Quest Type Goal
Early Game Headgear Quests Build character identity, obtain early utility bonuses, unlock crafting NPC access.
Mid-Game Expedition Gear Quests Craft survival armor for Fever maps, Dynamic Fields, and dungeon expeditions.
Advanced PvM Expedition + Relic Weapon Complete armor setup, begin weapon quest chains, prepare for MVP hunting and elite bosses.
Endgame Relic Weapon Quests Forge specialized weapons for MVP, farming, competitive content, and advanced builds.

Daily Quest System

⏰ 75+ Daily Quests — Powerful Consumables & Progression Rewards

Every day you can choose and complete quests from a pool of 75+ daily missions. Completing them grants the Daily Reward Box, which can contain powerful consumables, Stamina Flasks, access tokens, Poring Stars, and exclusive progression materials unavailable elsewhere. Daily Quests are the most consistent source of steady advancement.

Quest Difficulty Reference

🟢 Beginner
Simple NPC or material gathering. Basic monster drops, low Zeny cost. Good for new players.
🔵 Intermediate
Map exploration or dungeon hunting required. Regional materials and repeat farming.
🟠 Advanced
Rare materials or boss-related objectives. MVP drops, Fever materials, high-value resources.
🔴 Endgame
Long-term commitment. Multiple rare materials, special systems, high investment over sessions.
