I don’t reckon this option should be everywhere, either. It would be great for some areas to be exclusively single-player. Maybe we could have a designated PvP arena off in the shithole known as Aurora. The main thing here is that it’s a game designed to be experienced as a single-player narrative that takes partial credence from MMO design, where even when you’re on your own you can feel as if you’re playing something with an active and tangible community. This is nice with Genshin, but it would be particularly brilliant for something like Fable, where everything is just — forgive me for using this usually lazy but in this case especially accurate word — _ fun

It’s important to say right from the get-go that I didn’t love Fable 3. I liked it in a lot of ways, and boy was I happy to hear Stephen Fry’s dashingly dapper Reaver lambast everyone in his immediate vicinity with insults that were dour and spirited in equal measure. But it was a real departure from the sheer debauchery that Fable 2 paraded around.

One of 2020's biggest games was Final Fantasy 7 Remake from Square Enix. A timed-PS4 exclusive, Final Fantasy 7 Remake earned rave reviews when it launched earlier this year, with critics heaping praise on the game for its visuals, action-packed combat system, and how it expertly expands on the original Final Fantasy 7 story. Final Fantasy 7 is closely tied to PlayStation's identity, with Final Fantasy 7 standing out as one of the most critically-acclaimed games on the PS1, and being the first Final Fantasy released for a non-Nintendo platform. Final Fantasy 15 is currently available through the PlayStation Plus Collection, so Square Enix is clearly open to the idea of its games being on the service. Perhaps Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be added when we're closer to Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 's release da

As far as Fable games are concerned, Fable 3 has always been a bit of an ugly duckling. On one hand, it’s difficult to follow in the footsteps of a game as universally beloved as Fable 2. On the other, it’s especially brave to look at those footsteps stretched out in front of you and say, "Actually… I reckon I’ll walk the long way home."

I’d like to go back to what I mentioned at the beginning of this piece. A month and a bit into Genshin and I’m still signing in on the regular. I’m dying for another Elemental Crucible-esque event where I can partner with random players and boot around some hilichurls in all-out cooperative mayhem. I know I can play the rest of the game in co-op, but again — I like the single-player parts being single-player. That’s a great thing about Genshin — it recognizes that balance between experiencing a story on your own and exploring the world around it with other people. I think that would be great for Fable in particular — maybe Bowerstone is an MMO-esque hub where you can flick a switch and all of a sudden, boom! Marketplace, flog your trinkets and bullshit for coin, the more you rip people off the better. Flick the switch back and all of a sudden, boom! NPCs are the only people bothering you, and you can just ignore them if you w

Like the Fallout series, Fable has its own karma system. It's a major part of why the franchise is so beloved, but it can get a little silly. For instance, drinking five beers is as 'corrupt' (the measurement of negative karma) as committing murder.

When they made their ominous return to Fable 2, they even came with what appeared to be a cheeky Fallout reference. One of these doors, which was more simplistic than the rest, was called the Vault. It required the player to have 50% or more corruption to enter.

However, that wasn't the only property that lent its hand in shaping Fable's tone and aesthetic. There was The Picture of Dorian Gray, where the idea of morality linking to appearance came from, Mad Max 2 (hence the focus on the dog in the second game), Kill Bill and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer.

PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5 can play Uncharted 4: A Thief's End right now, but they can't access Nathan Drake's previous adventures through the PS Plus Collection right now. Sony gave away Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free to help keep people entertained during the COVID-19 pandemic, but like with Shadow of the Colossus , adding the game to the PS Plus Collection would be great for those that missed out on the opportunity. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection features the original three Uncharted games, widely considered some of the best PS3 games ever made, and so it would significantly up the value of a PlayStation Plus subscription for PS5 us

Maybe it’s just me. I enjoy playing Final Fantasy 14 the odd time and liked Runescape when I was a kid, but aside from that I’m not a big MMO guy. Fable, though... Fable’s different. I remember spending entire days with friends just traipsing around Albion in split-screen, causing as mighty a ruckus as humanly possible. It’s probably the most enthusiastic I’ve ever been about playing a game, at least in terms of actively responding to it — laughing, shouting at the screen, calling NPCs names befitting their animated and imbecilic selves. I think having at least some online elements — preferably the exact ones I assigned to Genshin above — would allow us to really tap into that same experiential nostalgia that made Fable what it was. I don’t want loads of fetch quests tied to MMO grinding — which Genshin has lots of, but fortunately doesn’t force you into — or to have some leech come up and steal my loot after taking down a massive dragon lad or whatever. But I do want to be able to share the experience of playing Fable with other people, because that’s always what made Fable special, and different from other games. It just gave you and whoever you were playing with this mutual, magical sense of joy. Regardless of what Playground does with Albion, gnomes, and Reaver — _ please _ bring Reaver back — I reckon I’ll be delighted with the new Fable [http://Kineskozdravlje.com/blog/post/64 Slg Game Updates] once it lets me play through the story like the previous ones without locking me out of its unique form of co-op delinquency and debauch
